You Need Help Residency

Last week we had self-styled ‘self help gurus’ You Need Help in residency in the studio. Duo Harry and Jesse have been generating ideas for their upcoming (ACE funded!) tour. Part sketch show, part improv, part pop-art pantomime You Need Help blends genres together into a hot-mess whirlwind of to show. The last week has seen ideas, mindmaps, writing, re-writing, and raps flowing, alongside the inevitable creativity blocks that are part of any making process.

We’ve been part of You Need Help’s journey since their first shows here at SHM in 2018, and are so happy to support them as they progress.
